- Position: Cable Manufacturing Learner (Vacancy #364)
- Location: Vereeniging, Gauteng
- Duration: Through to September 2026
- Qualification: National Certificate in Power and Telecommunication Cable Manufacturing (NQF Level 3, SAQA ID 21011)
- Programme Structure: Learners will rotate through various production units, work alongside experienced machine operators and gain practical experience in different manufacturing stages, while receiving formal theoretical training.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a learner in this programme you will:
- Rotate through multiple production units within the cable manufacturing plant, giving you exposure to the full manufacturing process.
- Operate and learn from machine operators and technicians to understand how cables are produced and processed.
- Participate in training sessions covering manufacturing workflows, safety procedures, quality control processes and technical standards.
- Gain knowledge of industrial equipment, manufacturing best-practices, workplace health & safety, and quality assurance.
- Develop both your practical skills and your theoretical understanding of cable manufacturing technologies and operations.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this learnership you must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Age between 18 and 35 years.
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics and a minimum of 50% in Physical Science.
- Strong interest in manufacturing, technical work, and the discipline to learn and develop skills.
- Good communication skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment within a manufacturing setting.
