- Hands-on, practical role — no heavy academic credentials needed; we value reliability, effort and a strong work ethic.

Role Overview
As a General Worker (Construction / General Labour), you will support a range of site operations, providing essential manual labour and general support to ensure smooth progress of construction and maintenance tasks. The role is physically demanding, hands-on, and requires a willingness to work under supervision and follow safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with manual labour tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, loading and unloading materials, moving equipment, stacking supplies, and site cleaning.
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas — clear debris, sweep, remove waste, and ensure walkways and work zones are tidy.
- Help with basic site maintenance and preparation: e.g., cleaning tools, preparing materials, supporting skilled workers as needed.
- Follow all site rules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Health & Safety (HSE) regulations without fail.
- Work under direction from site supervisors or foremen; follow instructions and complete assigned tasks reliably.
- Be adaptable — site demands may vary, and you may be asked to perform different tasks depending on project requirements.
- Possible to work variable hours, including early starts, overtime, and weekends — depending on project needs.
Candidate Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent is preferred, but not strictly required. We care more about attitude and work readiness than academic qualifications.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, honest, and able to follow instructions carefully.
- Basic understanding of — or willingness to learn — workplace safety procedures and site discipline.
- Good teamwork and communication skills; able to cooperate with supervisors and co‑workers respectfully and professionally.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing site conditions and demands.
- Readiness to undergo any required background checks, safety briefings, or site induction processes.
What We Look For
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have a strong work ethic and are willing to put in consistent effort.
- Are dependable and trustworthy, showing up on time and ready to work.
- Can take direction well and work under supervision, following safety rules strictly.
- Are team players — ready to support colleagues and contribute to a safe, collaborative work environment.
- Are committed to doing the job properly, maintaining cleanliness, order, and safety on site.
Even if you do not meet every preferred requirement, but you are motivated and willing to work — we encourage you to apply.
